The Pre-Visit

I currently take appointment bookings through my booking site, Gloss Genius. This is a secure platform that allows me to book appointments, take payment, etc. while keeping your payment methods on file if needed!

Please message me on Gloss Genius, or email me @ graceandmanellc@gmail.com with any and all questions regarding which type of appointment you need. Otherwise, you are free to book on the platform yourself if you know what service you’re needing.

You will receive a text & email that your appointment was booked. You will also receive a reminder text & email 72 hours beforehand. If you need to adjust your appointment date or time, gloss genius gives you the option to go back into the platform and adjust as needed. I only ask that you adjust your appointment before the 24 hour mark, to give me time to fill the schedule. Please confirm your appointment when you receive the reminder, so I know that you are confirmed on my end.

Sickness and emergencies happen, and I am very flexible.

I ask that you bring photos (If you’d like) of what look yore going for , so we can be on the same page from the start.

The Appointment

When you arrive you will be on the west side of a brick building with a sign that reads “SHADE studios”. You will walk into double doors and see plants and chairs up front. I welcome you to come straight back to my room, the last door on the right suite #12

This is a shared salon experience, meaning every stylist rents their own room with their own design, vibe, and business model.

You will take a seat and we will discuss how you’re feeling about your hair.

I would love to know your hair history, any issues you may have with your hair or scalp, and what your desired hair is. We work together to plan the most ideal service for you moving forward.

Are you having some insecurities? I have worked with thousands of hair types and worked through many hair and scalp problems. Trust me, I’ve seen a lot, and I am only here to help.

If you’d like a quiet appointment, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed.

After Goodbye

After we have finished your service, we can book your next appointment right then and there, or give you the space to book when you feel you are ready.

I do not require anyone to prebook, as i generally open my books 2-3 months ahead to make scheduling best for my needs as well as yours.
